Terms of sale

The site is a joke. These terms are not — they are the contract between you and us when you buy.

1. Who you are buying from

tlenft.com is operated by Marcus Bransbury.

2. What this is

This site is a parody of NFT culture. It is entertainment. Nothing on it is an offer of, or advice about, an investment.

  • There is no blockchain, no token, no wallet and no smart contract involved at any point.
  • The artwork is a PNG that anyone can save for free. Buying does not give you copyright, exclusivity, or any right to stop others using or saving the image.
  • What you buy has no resale right and no expectation of profit. The service is the temporary throne plus the public listing and tracked links described below. Treat the price as promotion and entertainment, not an investment.

3. What you actually get

When your payment succeeds:

  • The website, X handle, or both that you entered are shown on the home page while you hold The Throne.
  • We try to show the public X profile image associated with your handle, then a logo or favicon associated with your website. If no image can be resolved, we show a generated monogram. This lookup is automated, so we do not guarantee that a third-party image source will be available or return the image you expect.
  • Automatically generated images — a “deed”, a receipt and a social card — are produced using your public identity and, where available, the associated profile image or logo, at URLs you can share.
  • You receive a permanent numbered owner page and entry in The Bloodline for as long as this site operates. Your website and X links remain available there, and we publish the number of successful outbound redirects we record.
  • A timer runs showing how long you held The Throne. We do not guarantee any number of visitors, clicks, enquiries or sales.

Your ownership ends the moment anyone else pays the next price. That can happen seconds after you buy. It is the entire point of the product, it is not a fault, and it is not grounds for a refund. See Cancellation & refunds.

4. Price and payment

  • The first sale is $10. Each subsequent price is the last price paid plus 1%.
  • Prices are in US dollars and are the total payable. There are no delivery charges and no additional fees from us. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own currency-conversion charge, which we do not receive and cannot control.
  • Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Your contract with us is formed, and ownership transfers, when your payment is confirmed and the site shows you as owner — not when you open the checkout page.
  • If someone else’s payment lands before yours settles, yours is refunded in full automatically. You are never charged for an ownership slot you did not get.

5. Immediate supply and your right to cancel

Ownership transfers the instant you pay, at your request. Because of that you are asked, at checkout, to confirm that you want it supplied immediately and that you accept you will lose your 14-day right to cancel once it is. The consequences of that are set out in full on the Cancellation & refunds page, which forms part of these terms.

None of this affects your statutory rights. If what you receive is not as described here, is not of satisfactory quality, or does not work as it should, you have remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and we will honour them.

6. The public identity you enter

  • Websites and handles are self-reported and unverified. Enter only a website or handle you own or are authorised to promote.
  • By entering it, you confirm that we may retrieve, cache and display the public profile image, logo or favicon associated with it as part of your listing, and that you are authorised to have us do so.
  • Do not submit anything that impersonates someone else, is unsafe, unlawful, obscene, hateful or harassing, or identifies a private individual who has not agreed to it.
  • We may block a link or remove or replace a public identity that breaks the rule above, or that we are required to remove. If we remove yours while you are the owner and you did nothing wrong, we will refund you in full.
  • What you enter becomes public, appears in The Bloodline and may be copied into images that other people can share. See our Privacy notice for what that means for deletion.

7. Age

You must be 18 or over to buy. If you are under 18, please do not use the checkout.

8. Availability

We give no guarantee that the site will stay online, and no guarantee that it will run for any particular length of time. We may change or close it at any point. If we close it while you are the owner, your ownership simply ends with it — you are buying a place on a website that we may not run forever, and you should decide what to pay on that basis.

9. Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. We are not liable for any loss you claim from no longer being the owner, or from receiving fewer visits, clicks, enquiries or sales than you hoped.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it, so we keep the “last updated” date above current.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, or in a country whose consumer law gives you protections that cannot be contracted out of, you keep those protections and may bring proceedings in your own country’s courts.

If something has gone wrong, email contact@tlenft.com first. We would much rather sort it out directly.
