Cancellation and refunds
The short version: losing it to the next buyer is the product working, not a fault. Anything actually going wrong, we refund.

Your 14-day right to cancel
Buying here is a distance contract, so the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 normally give you 14 days to cancel for any reason.
Because what you are buying is digital and is supplied to you the instant you pay, you are asked at checkout to confirm two things: that you want it supplied immediately, and that you accept you will lose that 14-day right once supply has begun. Once you have confirmed both and your payment has gone through, the 14-day cancellation right no longer applies. That is the effect of regulation 37 of those Regulations.
If you have paid but supply has not yet started — for example a delayed payment method that has not settled — the 14-day right is still live and you can cancel it by emailing us.
What we always refund
Whatever the cancellation position, we will refund you if:
- Someone beat you to it. If another payment lands before yours settles, yours is refunded in full automatically — you do not need to ask.
- You paid and did not become the owner for any other reason, or the transfer failed.
- You were charged twice for the same purchase.
- We removed your public identity or links while you were owner and you had not broken the terms.
- The site was broken. If a fault on our side meant you did not get what these pages describe, tell us and we will put it right or refund you.
What is not a refundable fault
Someone else paying the next price and taking ownership from you. There is no minimum time you keep it — it can be seconds. That is described plainly before you pay, on the home page, in the buy box and on the artwork itself, so it is the product as described rather than something going wrong.
Equally: changing your mind about having spent the money, the fact that there is no resale right, or receiving fewer visits, clicks, enquiries or sales than you hoped. All are stated up front.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page removes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. What we supply must match its description, be of satisfactory quality and be fit for purpose. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, where that is not possible or does not fix it, to a price reduction or refund. Those rights sit alongside everything above, and we will honour them regardless of what this page says. You also keep any rights you have against your card issuer or payment provider.
How to ask for a refund
Email contact@tlenft.com with the website or X handle you used, the amount, and the date — or just forward the Stripe receipt, which has everything we need.
- We will reply within 5 working days.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days, and normally much sooner.
- We refund in the currency you paid. We cannot reimburse currency-conversion or bank charges applied by your own provider.
If you are thinking about raising a chargeback, please email us first — it is almost always faster.
Cancellation notice (where the right applies)
Where you still have the right to cancel, you can tell us any way you like — a plain email is enough. You may use this wording if you prefer:
To Marcus Bransbury, Newry, United Kingdom, contact@tlenft.com:
I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale for the following goods/for the supply of the following service: [describe]. Ordered on [date]. Name of consumer: [name]. Address of consumer: [address]. Date: [date].
